Realme India has launched two smartphones in the Indian market, including a cheap Realme 5s device and the other a flagship, the Realme X2 Pro. This is the company’s first flagship in India and it comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile platform.
The Realme X2 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display and it’s a Super AMOLED display that the company is calling Fluid AMOLED and that’s because it comes with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The display has a maximum brightness of 1000 nits and a display resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus 7nm processor that powers this device, powered by the Adreno 640 GPU. There are variants that have the option of 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM, and storage also depends on 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of storage, and there is no memory expansion option.
The device has four camera setups and while previous Realme phones had four cameras with standard settings including macro cameras, here the Realme X2 Pro also has a telephoto lens camera. The main camera offered on the phone is a 64-megapixel camera with the Samsung sensor and has an extremely wide-angle camera, a telephoto lens for optical zoom, and a depth sensor camera. The phone is capable of recording 4K video at 60 frames per second and has a 16-megapixel front camera for taking selfies.
One of the main features of the Realme X2 Pro is its fast charging capabilities, with SuperVOOC Flash 50W charging support to fully charge the 4000 mAh battery in less than 30 minutes. It is currently the fastest smartphone charging solution available in India. As for other features, the Realme X2 Pro has an in-screen fingerprint sensor and claims it is one of the fastest unlocking solutions on the market. There is also a VC liquid cooling system, which is said to be able to reduce CPU temperature to 5 degrees and surface temperature by about 2 degrees. The cooling system consists of super-lead overlapping carbon fibers, layered graphite sheets, and other highly efficient heat dissipation materials.
Sensors provided on the phone include light sensors, distance sensors, geometry sensors, film backs, and acceleration sensors. The phone runs the Color OS 6 operating system based on Android 9 Pie and it has features such as Hyperboost 2.0 for better gaming performance.
The standard X2 Pro version will be available in the White and Blue Neptune options while the main version will have the Red Brick and Concrete options. Realme X2 Pro costs Rs. 29990 for the base variant.
