There are actually a few really efficient ways of farming EXP in Minecraft Dungeons which we will discuss in this guide.
Minecraft Dungeons EXP Farming
The following are some of the best ways of leveling up fast by farming EXP in Minecraft Dungeons.
AFK Farming
AFK farming is a concept that many gamers should already be aware of. In order to do it in Minecraft Dungeons, however, you will need a few things. The idea behind AFK farming EXP is using things like Tasty Bone, Spelunker Armor in order to summon pets and let them clear waves of enemies while you do whatever you please.
Arguably the best way of doing so is to find a Spawner on Redstone Mines and keep the Spawner off-screen so that your pets do not accidentally attack it. As long as the Spawner is alive, mobs will continue to spawn and you will continue to earn EXP from your pets doing all the work. You can also throw in enchantments like Snowball, Chilling, etc. for better survivability.
If you do not want to put in a lot of work, this has to be the best method of farming huge amount of EXP. However, do note that more efficient ways of EXP farming do exist.
Farm Secret Levels
If you want to be efficient with EXP farming, you need to farm areas which do not include bosses or mini-bosses. While bosses and mini-bosses do yield more EXP per kill but they are more time-consuming than regular mobs. Therefore, you should try to stick to finishing off smaller mobs instead of tackling bosses.

If you do not want to spend your time looking for them, you can also try out missions like Highblock Halls, Cacti Canyon, etc.
Secret Cow Level
This has to be the best method of EXP in Minecraft Dungeons and if done effectively should net you around 2-3 levels per run depending on your current level. To access the secret Cow Level, however, you need to complete the game at least once on “Normal” difficulty.
Once you have done that, you will need to find a total of nine runes scattered all around the game. After finding the runes, return to the church near your camp and deposit them at the rune wall inside the church to find a map fragment leading you to the secret Cow Level.
