There are multiple playable characters on Moving Out and you can select change them at will. It is hard to pick and choose between these characters but it is fun to change characters to try out new ones when playing Moving Out. How to Change My Character in Moving Out
Each playable character in Moving Out quite different from each other. This is because the developers wanted to make sure you don’t lose track of where you are on the map. Yes, that can happen. Characters have no unique abilities and are only different in terms of how they look. If you are playing four-player coop, it is best to have the weirdest looking characters to that you know where you are at all times.
There are two ways you can switch your characters in Moving Out. First, you can go back to the main menu and select Continue Game once again and you will be asked to choose your character. But the second way is much better as you won’t have to leave the game and go back to the main menu. Look at the town’s streets and the houses you can visit, you will see the characters you are currently using and the option to Edit them at the bottom of the screen.
You can press Square on PS4, X on Xbox One, and Y on Nintendo Switch to change your characters in Moving Out. Pressing these buttons will take you back to the same character select screen in the main menu. There are a handful of characters available but as you progress you will unlock more characters in Moving Out.
