Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Change Class Tactics | Switch it up

Posted on October 19, 2020 By Crazy Hot No Comments on Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Change Class Tactics | Switch it up

In this Ghost Recon: Breakpoint change class guide we’re going to cover exactly how you change your current class in the game. This is an important feature that is underutilised because it’s messy, and quite hard to get your head around.

The only way to change class in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is by visiting a bivouac. These are rest points found throughout the island, including in Erewhon, which is where you’ll find the main one that everyone uses. You may not be able to change class if you’ve got certain immersive mode settings turned on. Check these if you get to a bivouac and find that you’re unable to change class.

When resting at a bivouac, you’ll see the option to change your class. This will open up the menu with all of your skills in. Right at the bottom of this page are your class options. These are Assault, Field Medic, Sharpshooter, Panther, and with the additional ones in the game there’s also Engineer and Echelon.

The pros and cons of these classes will be discussed in later articles, but you can get a brief explanation of each from the in-game menu. Once you’ve changed class, you can make any other preparations you want to. Once all your preparations are made, you can head out into the world of Auroa with your chosen class.

What are Bivouacs?

A bivouac is a camp fire out in the world of Auroa. These can be located everywhere, simply by playing the game. If you see a plume of smoke in the distance, there’s a good chance that it’s a bivouac. If you can’t see one in that direction on your map, then you know that there’s one in that direction that you could go and discover.

Once you’ve found a bivouac, you can fast travel to it at any time. This will save you time in terms of traversing the map. However, if you do take the time to drive or walk between bivouacs, there’s a good chance that you’ll stumble upon one on your way.

How do You Find Bivouacs?

As I just mentioned, you can stumble on a bivouac just by playing the game. If you’re driving around, or walking, and see a plume of smoke, head to it. Always check your map first to see if you’ve already discovered it though.

You can also discover a bivouac’s location by gathering intelligence. Sometimes you’ll be given the option to ask for a bivouac location. This will give you the area on your map, but you’ll still need to travel there in order to unlock the bivouac. Once you have though, you can freely fast travel to and from it.

That’s really all there is to know about how to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint change class. It’s all about stopping, taking a moment to assess what your current mission is, and making the right preparations. Failing to do this won’t always hinder you. If you’re good with a certain class, then you can probably use it in any situation. Certain classes are better for certain missions though, so pay attention.
