Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals Altered Elements Farming Guide

Posted on November 13, 2020November 13, 2020 By Crazy Hot No Comments on Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals Altered Elements Farming Guide

Altered Element is a new type of currency in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals along with Exotic Ciphers, Twisted Energy, and Trace Override. And while it is not as rare as the other two, you will need a lot of it if you wish to farm for your desired weapons and gear. This guide will help you learn everything you need to know about Altered Elements and farming them in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals.

Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals Altered Elements

Altered Elements in Season of Arrivals are needed to re-roll the Umbral Engrams that you find out in the open-world. If you open up the Prismatic Recaster, you should be able to change what you want out of an Umbral Engram. Doing so, however, requires you to have Altered Elements.

Now that you know what to do with Altered Elements, let us talk about farming it. As of now, the only way of earning Altered Elements that we know of is completing the Daily Bounties from the Prismatic Recaster. Remember that you need to focus only on the Daily Bounties. Weekly Bounties only provide the Twisted Energy and Repeatable Bounties only give XP.

Since you can only do a maximum of 4 Daily Bounties in 24 hours, it is obviously more efficient for players who have 3 characters to play with. If you only have one, no need to worry, you will get there eventually. Besides, you can always log-in to your other characters just to complete the bounties and switch back to your primary – the amount of Altered Elements you have is tied to your account.

As for the Daily Bounties, they usually involve killing enemies with precision damage, grenade kills, kills with Heavy GLs, killing the boss in a Lost Sector, etc. – they are pretty straightforward and easy to complete.

Once you have acquired a decent enough amount of Altered Elements, you will need Umbral Engrams. Luckily, Destiny 2 is currently showering players with it. Everything you do, be it the new Prophecy dungeon, Strikes, Crucible, Gambit, Raids, etc., will give you Umbral Engrams.

This is all we have got in our Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals Altered Elements guide.
